Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including firewall, LAN, and operating systems
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Respond promptly to service requests using ServiceNow ticketing system
- Manage computer management tools like Jira to track issues and resolutions
Requirements
- Proficiency in computer hardware, IT infrastructure, firewall, LAN, operating systems (Linux preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing purposes
- Experience in computer management tools like Jira is a plus
