ersg is seeking a remote Wind Engineer. This is a 6-month contract position with a strong possibility of extension or being hired directly. The headquarters are located in Boston, so Boston candidates preferred but open at all candidates in Eastern Time Zone.
Responsibilities :
- Project Oversight :
- Conduct regularly scheduled project meetings with management, project partners and clients to facilitate, confirm, and communicate the status of the project execution plan, schedule, and engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Assess engineering support for development and permitting activities as needed.
- Monitoring the design, engineering, and construction of wind energy projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and project timelines.
- Participate and assist with the project due diligence, development and construction.
- Work with Asset Management and Operations departments to define the requirements for adequate project turnover and then assist with the transition of the project to Operations upon project completion.
- Oversee the work product of the Construction Manager(s) and quality control personnel during the execution of the project and ensure compliance with reporting requirements under contracts and lender agreements, and to internal management.
- Quality Assurance :
- Implement and oversee quality control processes during the construction and development phases, ensuring that all work meets established standards and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
