Quality Assurance Manager
Our Quality Manager role insures a high quality of produced parts according to customer specifications, and internal processes. They provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with customers. They will program management by integrating new technologies. This is a management role with at least 6 direct reports.
Job Responsibilities
· Organizes work processes and performance of the quality inspection team.
· Provides new hire training, and improvement training to the quality team.
· Completes documentation and procedure changes based on 8D report results and works with internal problem-solving teams in resolving customer complaint issues.
· Support continuous improvement efforts
· Communication and support of customer quality engineering issues.
· Manages Environmental Management System per ISO 14001.
· Approves material safety dot sheets (MSDS) and new substances.
· Provides IMDS for new products
· PPAP & APQP documentation.
· Coordinates measurement homologation
Requirements
· Ability to Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
· Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
· Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
· Use of mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.
· Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
· Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Interpretation of an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
· Mastery of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project and CAQ quality software.
· Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university or working equivalent
· Pre-employment drug screening (hair follicle)
