Join our team in Eastern Alabama with this low volume emergency medicine opportunity. Clay County is a small independent hospital serving the town and community of Ashland, Alabama. The position is ideally suited for a family physician with emergency and Inpatient experience.
Job Details :
Daily ER volume is about 15 patients per day.
24 - hour shifts with flexible scheduling
Local hospitalist coverage is available Monday-Friday
Quality nursing staff
Lab and Radiology services 24 / 7
Participates in Alabama Trauma Network (https : / / www.alabamapublichealth.gov / aths / index.html)
EMR is CPSI
Clay County Hospital is an acute care hospital with 53 beds. The hospital provides a comprehensive list of services including radiology services, physical and occupational therapy, emergency room, hospice, cardiology clinic, a nursing home and sleep lab.

Requirements
EM and inpatient experience required.
Active Alabama Physician licence
Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS certifications
