Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician
Summary of Responsibilities:
Perform diversified duties to analyze, troubleshoot, repair and test a variety of electro-mechanical products. Must be able to work from and read print specifications, test schematics, technical manuals as well as written/verbal instructions or other pertinent documentation. Must be able to use, set-up, troubleshoot and repair as required, a variety of assembly and test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, National Instrument equipment and other specified equipment. Must be able to work well with production operators and engineers.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and test analog and digital electronics
· Test and troubleshoot mechanical assemblies
· Operate equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, test assemblies
· Calibration
· Soldering
· Washing and conformal coating electronic PCB’s
· Select and set-up appropriate assembly and test fixtures and/or equipment
· Perform other duties as assigned or as may be necessary
· Ensure good quality and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
Secondary Responsibilities:
· Assemble electro-mechanical products as needed
· Perform final acceptance or operational testing on electro-mechanical assemblies
· Inspect/test subassemblies and finished goods as required
Desirable Qualifications:
· High school diploma
· Specialized training in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and testing of equipment and assemblies
· Three to five years of relevant experience
· Must be capable of lifting 5 – 25 lbs. on a continuous basis
