We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This role will primarily focus on transactional bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy in coding, posting, documentation, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and reconciliations. This position does not include payroll processing or full-cycle accounting responsibilities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This role will primarily focus on transactional bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy in coding, posting, documentation, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and reconciliations. This position does not include payroll processing or full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction coding.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation, ensuring adequate backup for all transactions.
- Monitor and track financial data, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in generating financial reports as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a part-time capacity
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and general bookkeeping principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, with a focus on transactional work
