What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agricultural Science Teacher position at ESC Region 7?
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must exhibit the ability to oversee and instruct students in all aspects of ag science, leadership events, and ag mechanics projects for county and statewide shows.
- Effectively prepare lessons according to TEKS.
- Ability to instruct students, manage a classroom and motivate students to participate in all levels of the FFA program required.
- Leadership in FFA activities required.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Demonstrated competency in Agricultural Science
- CDL (Commercial Drivers License)
