What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, IMPACT ETX position at ESC Region 7?
Job Summary: The IMPACT ETX Program Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting, coaching, monitoring all IMPACT ETX certification candidates and interns. Develop, deliver, and market mentorship training to local LEAs. Provide support as needed to the IMPACT ETX program.
Education/Training:
Bachelor Degree or required license
Prefer Master Degree in a related field
Experience:
At least 3 years of related experience.
Campus/District/Region leadership experience.
Knowledge / Skills:
Ability to build, develop, and inspire teams

Build and cultivate relationships
Excellent communication Financial knowledge
Coaching Skills Experience/knowledge of mentoring programs
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress
Work with frequent interruptions; irregular hours
Frequent regional travel; occasional statewide travel
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide support and coaching for all IMPACT ETX program teacher candidates/interns.
2. Monitoring teacher candidates’ progress through the course of the program.
3. Deliver mentor training to local LEAs, as necessary.
4. Collaborate with all IMPACT ETX program staff to support all components of IMPACT ETX.
5. Work collaboratively with ESC staff in serving the customers of Region7 ESC.
6. Attend and participate in all ESC-required training.
7. Demonstrate professional behavior in all interactions with ESC staff and customers.
8. Adhere to ESC policies and procedures in the Region 7 ESC quality management system
9. Work and collaborate with others as needed to ensure the implementation and success of
state and local initiatives.
