What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fentanyl Trainer for School District Personnel/Students - Part-time position at ESC2?
To assist with and support administration with the TEA Fentanyl Grant to expand services to regional LEAs. This position will coordinate comprehensive Fentanyl training services and provide technical assistance to educators and school nurses in the effort to meet the health services and health education needs of children in a school setting and to provide Fentanyl technical assistance and support to regional LEAs.

Education Qualifications
1. Provide Texas Registered Nurse License or Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Certification
2. Bachelor of Science or other credible four-year Degree (required)
3. Master's degree (preferred)
Experience
1. Strong background, knowledge of legal medical/health issues
2. Experience providing health services to adults and children
3. Experience working with local education agencies (LEAs); local, state and federal health agencies; and medical agencies/organizations (preferred)
4. Training and skills at delivery or presentations to School District personnel
5. Experience with designing, developing and implementing health programs (preferred)
Special Knowledge and Skills
1. Ability to guide and fulfill grant requirements
2. Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills to conduct required training
3. Knowledge of working with and identifying signs and symptoms of substance abuse
4. Knowledge of TEA School Health Guidelines and programs that interface with School Health
5. Knowledge of local and state health agencies and medical/community resources
6. Advanced knowledge of school health services, school health legislation, health education programs and health curriculum
7. Ability to plan and implement staff development in a variety of health topics
