JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Housekeeper
Reports To: Customer Service/ Hospitality Manager
SCOPE OF POSITION:
To ensure guest satisfaction by delivering quality service, consistency, and executing excellence through the entire guest experience. Ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the resort
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Professionally clean and maintain units in accordance with company standards
- Clean and tidy up resort units (wagons, tipis, outdoor kitchens, etc.), hallways, elevators, lobbies, common areas, fitness and business centers, and restaurants
- Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Empty trash bins
- Change linens and towels and replace toiletries
- Clean outdoor kitchens, bbq grills, stock kitchen supplies.
- Wash linens and laundry and stock supply shelves.
- Provide laundry services for guests
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule
- Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart.
- Report any issues that require maintenance
- Effectively communicate by relaying information to management or correct personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATES / SKILLS
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions
- Time-management skills
- Understand Company Policy Guide
- Be able to speak, read, write and understand English in the workplace.
- Detail Oriented. Self-Starter
- Ability to work multiple shifts, day, evenings, week days, week ends.
- Experience in a resort or Hotel/motel Industry (desirable).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for duration of shift Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to reach other areas of the Resort on a timely basis. Must be able to lift, up to 50 lbs., heavy items, totes, luggage on a regular basis Must be able to push or pull up to 50lb heavy carts and equipment. Must be able to bend, squat, stretch and lift to fulfill tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability
