Major Job Duties:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade data processing, information systems, electronic communications, and data retrieval on Vantage system.
- Perform all necessary system operator tasks as required.
- Respond to user needs relating to hardware malfunction or additional equipment in a timely fashion.
- Training users on applications as necessary.
- Perform system maintenance tasks and monitor equipment on a regular basis.
- Maintain procedures in cooperation with management relating to IT security issues.
- Perform software installation of all necessary systems and applications including upgrades and new releases on all applicable computer systems.
- Ensure servers and network are secure from unauthorized access and viruses.
- Monitor web sites for any unauthorized intrusions, update and rewrite code as needed for products and product pricing.
- Assist in conducting internal software and licensing audits and ensure compliance standards.
- Carry out all instructions from supervisor in a timely fashion.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Preferred 2 year or more post-secondary degree in a related IT field of study.
- Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred.
- Knowledge of C# programming language preferred.
- Knowledge of VMWare
- An understanding or TCP/IP routing, DNS, and firewalls
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and documentation skills.
- Ability to think logically.
- Ability to plan and to prioritize.
- Ability to deliver results and meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- High personal standard of Customer Service
- Proficient in assessing and troubleshooting hardware (i.e., desktops, laptops, printers, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS (Operating System), basic security and its built-in applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe).
- Windows Server, Windows Operating Systems
- Proficient with Mac OS and its built-in applications
- Proficient with Google Applications
- Experience in utilizing ticketing systems to track and resolve customer needs.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to a resolution.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
