JOB SUMMARY
The Curriculum Distribution Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse operations, leading a team to ensure safety, efficiency, and accuracy in their work. This role involves leadership, managing inventory control, safety and security in operations. Additional duties will exist in program management, coordinating logistics and transportation, optimizing space utilization, training staff, communication and collaboration, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee and direct warehouse operations.
Lead, motivate, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
Manage employee schedules and performance.
Ensure adherence to agency policies and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate inventory records and levels.
Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing kits and materials.
Ensure proper storage and handling of kits and materials.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
Conduct cycle rotation counts and physical inventories.
Ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Manage the loading, unloading, and shipping of kits and materials.
Communicate with suppliers and schools to ensure timely deliveries.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide this data to ESD Leadership and the Science Executive Committee.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Resolve district, building, and vendor inquiries and concerns
Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct safety inspections and address safety concerns.
Document and report accidents or incidents.
Ensure proper training and use of safety equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED certificate.
Experience managing a computerized inventory control system and a fixed asset tracking system.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.
Three years recent successful supervisory or leadership experience.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to using an inclusive equitable approach.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience (2-4 years), involving a wide variety of stock control, receiving and distribution, scheduling, and record keeping.
Knowledge and experience complying with federal and state safety statutes.
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
Required Skills, Knowledge and or Abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure; work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Possess a level of curriculum understanding.
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers, district staff members and the general public.
Experience in utilizing safety precautions when operating warehouse equipment.
Established record of dependability, flexibility and strong attendance.
Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License, and a forklift/electric pallet jack certification.
Ability to pass an administered truck driving course.
Ability to maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Ability to attend specific job trainings as required.
