Brief Description
Inframark is looking for an Electricial Instrumentation Technician.
Under the general direction of Project Manager and/or Lead Operator, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the wastewater/water treatment plant electrical/instrumentation equipment, pump station electrical/instrumentation equipment and performs related work as required.

Inframark is looking for an Electricial Instrumentation Technician.
Under the general direction of Project Manager and/or Lead Operator, this person will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the wastewater/water treatment plant electrical/instrumentation equipment, pump station electrical/instrumentation equipment and performs related work as required.
Education/Equivalent
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of Apprenticeship Program and/or Vocational Degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet risk management guidelines is required.
- Minimum 2 years operational experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Working experience of a 460V 3-phase systems, PLC controls, computer SCADA systems, open and close loop controls, preventive/corrective maintenance tasks, calibration of plant instrumentation.
- Working experience with both power and control circuits.
- Working experience to effectively read electrical wiring and ladder schematics.
- Must have knowledge of SCADA instrumentation and controls.
- Familiarity and adherence to all environmental and safety compliance regulations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work activities.
- Ability to work with all levels of personnel.
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, and familiarity with MP2 maintenance programs.
- Inspects, troubleshoots and repairs various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical equipment malfunctions.
- Will have the ability to react to unplanned events and emergency situations.
- Inspect and calibrate plant equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment according to manufacturers’ and UW recommended Best Maintenance Practices.
- Install various types of electrical/electronic equipment and devices and observe safe work practices.
- Performs general administration and maintenance of plant SCADA equipment including HMI and PLC equipment.
