Looking for a great new opportunity? We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Representative that is a passionate, driven, sales-oriented person. You enjoy the challenge of connecting with new people, listening, and positioning products/solutions with prospective customers. This is a high-growth role designed to develop and launch people into a successful sales career in the tech industry.

Position Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Source new business and revenue opportunities through outbound prospecting efforts
  • Identifies and nurtures strategic relationships with partners or potential customers
  • Research prospective accounts & identify key players
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment
  • Discover the customers’/prospects’ business initiatives
  • Build a point of view on how to help qualify customer’s needs
  • Speak to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
  • Learn how to anticipate and prepare for objections
  • Handle a high volume of accounts with a strategy on prioritization of your accounts and time
  • Close small transaction deals for our Jobutrax solution (25%-40%) of your responsibilities
  • Manage a CRM and sales pipeline
  • Works with marketing, sales and product teams to implement business development initiatives

Position Qualifications

What will make you an Ideal Candidate?

  • Tech sales background with proven track record
  • Track record of closing small transaction size deals over the phone/ web Relentless, hardworking, and gritty towards achieving key metrics and results
  • Confident in cold calling, emailing, and connecting with new people
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Empathy and knowledge that active listening is the key to becoming a great seller
  • Social Intelligence; easily able to understand, empathize and connect with people
  • Highly productive in a work-from-home environment
  • Problem-solving skills and discovering opportunities to help people succeed
  • A strong interest in a sales and business development career

Experience

  • 5 years preferably in technology sales preferably in the energy sector

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
