Job Summary
This position assists project managers with production, coordination, and review.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five to ten years’ experience in UL Control Panel Manufacturing industry
- Bachelor of science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred and or applicable experience
- Possess a background and experience with the design of industrial controls, and the electrical controls processes
- Operating computer aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment
- Experience with MS office
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawing and work/adapt under pressure
- Estimating of electrical control panels and associated equipment
- Design of electrical control systems/panels in compliance with applicable codes and UL508 standards under direction of project managers and designers
- Interface and coordinate with designers and engineering from conception of design through submittal, product production and as-build documentation control
- CAD file and product documentation control
- Assist project managers with the production, coordination, review, and approval of project shop drawings and submittals in conjunction with project specifications and production requirements
- Provide direction to administrative staff, procurement, logistics department, and production department
- Generally, works under the direction of a Project Manage
- Maintain as-built documents
- Participate in the creation and response to RFIs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
