Eskola, LLC – The Knoxville, Tennessee branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The right person for this role will be able to learn our services, our mission, our values, and our industry to provide roofing solutions for a large client base.

As a Commercial Roofer, you will lead the way in satisfactorily completing roof tear-offs and installations on commercial properties. Given our service and position in the industry, you will gain more knowledge about the roofing industry and solving customer issues than anywhere else, while you maintain a record of exceeding your goals.

Job Description:

• Construct and assemble layers of roofing using various materials including insulation to TPO Membrane, PVC Membrane, Modified Cold Applied or EPDM roofing
• Tear off and installation of commercial roofing systems
• Cut and shape roofing materials to proper size
• Maintain proper safety codes and procedures to comply with OSHA regulations
• Work as part of a team to complete all aspects of jobs assigned and to ensure all work is done according to OSHA standards
• Use hand tools and other equipment (e.g. scaffold, ladder)
• Participate in regular safety meetings and abide by all safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection and others
• Participate in company training events as assigned
• Deliver excellent quality and customer satisfaction
• Mentor less-experienced crew members

Job Duties & Requirements:

• At least 1 year Commercial Roofing experience
• Ability to install EPDM, TPO, and Hot Apply
• Familiarity with various hand tools
• Physical stamina to perform constant bending, kneeling, twisting/turning, crouching, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, reaching, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting (reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the described functions)
• Mentor and supervise less experienced crew
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret work-related documents
• Be able to use math skills relevant to roofing, basic algebra, geometry, rates, ratios, proportions, and percentages
• Observe safety and security procedures
• Demonstrate the ability to meet and exceed standards and work quickly and accurately
• Contribute to profits and revenues and conserve company resources
• Must be able to work effectively with people
• Not afraid of heights or ladders
• Be on time for all shifts and ready to go at the assigned time with all personal tools and PPE
• Must be willing to travel and work out of town

Bonus Skills:

• 2 Years Roofing Experience
• Bilingual (including English)
• OSHA 10 Hour or 30 Hour Card
• Aerial Man lift and Forklift Certified
• Valid Driver’s License
• CDL
• First Aid/CPR
• Sheet Metal Experience
