Commercial Roofing Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a best in class commercial roofing estimator to join our rapidly growing business.

Roofing estimating experience is preferred, preferably with knowledge of The Edge Estimating platform.

Expectations:

• Evaluate and review field conditions provided by production and sales team
• Accurately review plans and specs for new construction roofing projects
• Research local requirements and insure all project scopes are bid according to local codes
• Regularly interface with suppliers for pricing updates
• Build estimates with the Edge Estimating program for repair, reroof, and new construction projects
• Prepare proposals for all types of commercial roofing applications
• Deliver bids to sales team for submission
• Provide project manager with material lists after bid is signed
• Interface with customers as required with the highest level of professionalism

This job is nearly 100% computer based work. Must be able to work at a computer daily for extended hours.

The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated professional with commercial roofing knowledge and possess a core desire to provide customers with the highest level of service. Our goal is to bring in someone that will be with us long term. We are not looking to fill this position again for many years to come.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
