Program Manager Hourly Rate: $100.00 Job Location: North Jersey Municipal Employee Benefits Fund (NJMEBF), New Jersey (On-site/Hybrid) Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Summary: The Program Manager oversees the administration and strategic development of employee benefits programs. They ensure compliance, coordinate with third-party administrators (TPAs), analyze claims data, and develop cost-containment strategies. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary consultant on program design and trends in employee benefits. Prepare reports on claims data and cost-containment strategies for the Executive Committee. Work with subcommittees on plan design, wellness, and cost reduction. Draft and review specifications for HMO, PPO, COBRA, and managed care services. Ensure compliance with benefit plans and regulations. Assist in claim appeals, member concerns, and plan modifications. Provide employee communication materials, including enrollment information. Support negotiations and financial analysis related to plan costs. Qualifications: Expertise in health insurance and employee benefits. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. Ability to work with TPAs, brokers, and government agencies. Experience with compliance and regulatory oversight.
