Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Pay Rate: $17 to $19 per hour
Job Duration: 14 weeks (Temp-to-Perm Contract)

Job Overview:
ESO Consultants is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to support the practice at Penn Primary Care/Penn Specialty Practices. This role involves coordinating all aspects of surgical scheduling, including liaising with surgeons, hospital admissions, and the OR team to ensure efficient surgical workflow. The Surgery Scheduler will also schedule office visits and maintain provider clinic schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule all surgeries and coordinate activities with surgical teams, hospital admissions, and the operating room
- Ensure all surgery-related ancillary coordination is completed
- Maintain and manage physician and advanced practice provider (APP) schedules
- Schedule office visits, ensuring efficient utilization of clinic time
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize OR capacity
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in PennChart/EMR
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Required)
- 1 years of related medical office experience (Required)
- Familiarity with PennChart/EMR (Training provided; first 12 hours are non-billable)
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Submission & Compliance Requirements:
- Submission must include: Resume & Submission Cover Form in one document
- Requested Time Off (RTO) must be listed on the submission cover form for consideration
- Compliance Deadline: Wednesday before the start date
- Medicals and Drug Screen: Must be started within 72 hours of accepting the offer; failure to do so may result in contract cancellation
