The Electrical Project Admin is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the electrical team , including scheduling, documentation, communication, budget monitoring, and overall coordination, primarily supporting the master electrician by ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and according to project requirements; they typically handle daily project operations, maintain detailed records, and facilitate smooth project execution across all stages.
Key responsibilities of a project administrator may include:
- Project planning and scheduling:
Creating and maintaining project timelines, assigning tasks to team members, and tracking progress against deadlines.
- Documentation and reporting:
Assist in maintaining comprehensive project documentation, generating progress reports, and updating project status information for stakeholders.
- Meeting management:
Scheduling and facilitating project meetings, taking minutes, and distributing action items.
- Communication management:
Communicating project updates to team members, clients, and other stakeholders through various channels.
- Administrative tasks:
Handling administrative tasks such as invoice processing, purchase orders, and filing. A working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft, and various customer portals.
