Location: Aurora, IL
Job Type and Duration: Full Time, Direct Hire
Pay range: $80k - $100K
Our client is seeking a full time Survey Intern (SI) for our Aurora, Illinois Office.
The ideal candidate must be well-versed with AutoCAD(Civil 3D), proficient with computers, and have at least 6 years of practical private sector land survey office experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with and process survey data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and professional standards.
Read, interpret and understand civil, structural and architectural plans.
Create or review accurate construction staking calculations from existing files for field crews using AutoCAD software.
Prepare or review record drawings (As-Builts) from engineering files and field data using AutoCAD software.
Be able to comprehend surveys, deed, legal descriptions and recorded documents.
Provide preliminary boundary calcs and title review for professional land surveyor approval.
Prepare base drawings for ALTA/Boundary surveys, topography and other land survey documents.
REQUIREMENTS
Possess a strong background in AutoCAD (civil 3D preferred)
Have excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written skills.
Have the ability and desire to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers.
Be able to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
This is not a remote position.
