Salary : Job Summary :
The Parts Runner is responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of parts and materials to and from the mechanic shop, supporting our team of mechanics in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities :
Transport parts, tools, and materials between suppliers, the mechanic shop, and job sites.
Ensure timely delivery of parts to mechanics to support efficient repair and maintenance operations.
Return cores and unused parts to suppliers as needed.
Assist with receiving and stocking parts and supplies in the shop.
Maintain an organized inventory and inform the shop manager of low stock levels.
Perform regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Communicate effectively with mechanics, shop managers, and suppliers regarding parts orders and delivery schedules.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted accurately.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a mechanic shop or with a heavy civil contractor.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of automotive and heavy equipment parts is preferred.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
