What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Support Service Representative position at Best Line Equipment?
Best Line Equipment is currently seeking a full-time Aftermarket OEM Parts Support Service Representative (PSSR) for the state of New Jersey. The position is based out of our Keyport, NJ location but daily travel will be required to customer locations throughout the assigned area. You will serve as the "in field" link between the company and the parts, sales, and service departments at the various locations within the territory. In this role you will be responsible for sales of parts and/or service-related agreements for construction and industrial equipment, growing revenue streams from current and new accounts.

Job Overview
- Interact with clients, knowing their specifications and offering them the best products.
- Sell products to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs.
- Visit external customers to make a sale and determine replacement parts required according to customer requests or customer descriptions of malfunctions.
- Report directly to PSSR Manager.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to deliver prompt and exceptional customer service.
- Manually check inventory stock in assigned mobile parts van and/or through the software CDK.
- Physically spot check inventory on an average of six times per year.
- Examine returned parts for defects and exchange defective parts or refund money.
- Occasionally package and ship parts back to the manufacturer or customer.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years of construction equipment experience in parts, service, or sales (or a combination thereof)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Valid Driver's License
