What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casting Assistant position at Esprit Casting?
Do you believe behind the scenes of the entertainment business is just as important as staring in it? If so, this is the job for you! Esprit Casting is looking to hire both Part-Time and Full-Time positions starting February. Must complete a paid probationary period of 2 weeks or one complete casting (from start to finish) to be hired. Once hired pay is $15 an hour at a maximum of 30 hours per week. There are busy periods throughout the year, so hours can be increased if you are interested. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail. Someone who notices what others can’t, and double checks their work. After 3 months of thorough and complete work, potential to earn percentages on jobs may be earned.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in casting/and or working at a talent/modeling agency.
- Must be able to come into the office (90012).
- Must have reliable transportation or quick public transportation to (90012).
- Must have a positive attitude.
- Must have social media experience
- Must have an eye for attention to detail.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to conduct self in professional settings.
You’ll be assisting projects from start to finish in six to eight steps:
1. Posting a Casting Call on Instagram & Casting Networks
2. Making selects on both IG & Casting Networks
3. Putting together model submission packages on Google slides
4. Requesting self tapes if the projects requires
5. Scheduling auditions/callbacks if the project requires
6. Calling talent & agencies to place talent on avail, hold, or confirmations
7. Confirming talent received call sheet & details for set.
8. Going to set to sign talent in and assistant production with talent coordinating.
