Overview

Esri is looking for a Regional Marketing Lead to support Esri's international market growth in the Americas region. In this exciting position, you will be collaborating with 17 Distributors, including the largest distributor (Esri Canada), distributors from LATAM, and the Caribbean. As a marketing professional at Esri, you are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and data driven. You leverage your skills to support varied campaigns and programs. You understand the need to effectively tailor initiatives to capture the attention of targeted audiences. Your strategic mindset and strong collaboration with team members enables the creation of resources and deliverables leveraged across multiple channels. Analytical thinking drives your ability to evaluate the strengths and opportunities related to program output and you measure revenue generated from executed channel programs.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and Collaborate. Build a regional distributor marketing community and keep them engaged via monthly regional calls. Provide them with updates on social media strategies, marketing tactics, and campaigns, and events. Serve as a liaison between the distributor marketing group and Esri Inc Corporate marketing groups.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Create and execute multiple regional marketing campaigns and timelines simultaneously across the Americas. Develop and execute go-to-market joint value propositions and campaigns with strategic partners.
  • Drive Results. Create and execute the annual Americas Regional Marketing Plan in alignment with the regional business development strategies. Provide marketing support to distributors regarding marketing materials for their own public relations, advertising, events, digital assets, and pre- and post-event promotions for trade shows, user conferences, seminars, product rollouts, etc.
  • Think analytically. Leverage marketing analytics and reporting platforms to understand campaign objective criteria, review campaign status reports, and continuously audit and improve the digital experience and outcomes. Use data to inform decisions and solve problems.
  • Amplify the Esri Brand. Extend the Esri brand messaging across regions through events, campaigns, and regional messaging with customer stories. Communicate Esri marketing activities, programs, and strategies to keep the distributor marketing community informed.
  • Be an expert. Leverage Global Marketing Best Practices with Americas Region, continuously harvesting best practices and conduct enablement training on topics deemed critical to the region. Stay updated on emerging digital technologies, media opportunities, approaches, and strategies to effectively contribute to the goals of your team.

Requirements

  • 8 years experience working in global marketing
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Advanced project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinker who can effectively work well in a cross-functional, multi-cultural team environment
  • Self-starter, detail and task oriented, highly organized, with a customer-oriented attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Mastery of English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25-35%
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficient in Portuguese (verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with international business model concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Understanding of GIS/Esri products
  • Experience as a marketing consultant or training provider
