An ESS substitute classroom facilitator are on-site personnel whose job is to assist the online teacher in the day-to-day operation of the course.
The role of facilitator is critical to the success of students in the virtual course.
Substitute paraprofessionals are also known as school aides, teacher assistants, instructional aides, one-to-one aides, and personal care assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups of students
- Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class
- Assist students and teachers by operating classroom equipment that is essential to the delivery of interactive video conference classes.
- Distribute and collect classroom materials, proctor exams and quizzes, and maintain a proper quiet learning environment
- Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration

Qualifications
- Minimum 48 college credits
- State / FBI Criminal History Clearance
