What is the pay like?
Substitutes are paid weekly, and daily rates are :
Substitute Teacher : starting at $100 daily
Substitute Paraprofessional : starting at $85 daily
Substitute Health Assistant : starting at $95 daily
You may wonder if you are the right candidate to be a substitute, we get this question all the time. Some people believe they need to have a higher education or have experience. Our program is simple!
- Must have GED or High School Diploma
- Get a Criminal and Employee Non-Certified Background Check (cost required though reimbursed)
- Certification is specific to the role, though we help with that (its rather simple)
- We provide you with training and orientation
- Begin working when you choose (you make your own schedule)
What people may not know is that subbing is great if you do not want to work every day, or if you are in school or have children at home and need the flexibility. That's because YOU pick your schedule.
