Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Fabricate and cut wood components for construction tasks.
- Follow wood framing procedures and techniques to build structural elements.
- Install window and door frames with precision.
- Assess, repair, and maintain wood structures as needed.
- Perform trim and finishing procedures with attention to detail.
- Work independently on multi-day tasks from start to finish.
- Supervise, guide, and train apprentices and laborers on assigned tasks.
- Maintain and properly store tools and equipment to ensure they are clean and in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- 5 years of construction experience, preferably with high-end projects.
- Strong punctuality and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow construction plans and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of engineering requirements related to carpentry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and instruct team members.
- Own basic carpentry tools required for the job.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
