Clinical Audiologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. This role requires a strong background in audiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including those in Otolaryngology. The Audiologist will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through effective hearing solutions and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
• Collaborate with Otolaryngologists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Utilize computerized systems for patient record management and data analysis.
• Provide counseling and education to patients about hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
• Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies through continuous professional development.
• Demonstrate leadership within the team by mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques for hearing assessment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Otolaryngology principles to enhance collaborative care approaches.
• Ability to computerize patient data efficiently using relevant software applications, including Excel.

• Experience or knowledge in Pediatrics to cater to younger patients effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple patient cases simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of physiology related to auditory systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Strong customer service orientation to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
