Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
- Collaborate with Otolaryngologists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Utilize computerized systems for patient record management and data analysis.
- Provide counseling and education to patients about hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
- Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies through continuous professional development.
- Demonstrate leadership within the team by mentoring junior staff and contributing to a positive work environment.
