Join our team today!Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for performing daily payroll operations.Responsibilities Maintain and document all payroll recordsManage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timelyReconcile and validate payroll prior to transmissionUnderstand proper taxation of salaries, benefits and other factorsProcess and monitor garnishment orders and other deductions that impact payroll specificationsExecute time and attendance processing and interface with payrollDetect and process issues related to uncollected payroll checksAssist with year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc)Process manual checksReview data / files received from HRResearch and email appropriate audience of file issuesAddress employee payroll and timekeeping inquiries and concernsQualifications Associates Degree with an additional 3 years of experience and / orBS / BA in business, accounting or relevant experience and 2 years of experienceMust have experience with processing payrollMust have experience with timekeepingStrong PC skills including proficiency in ExcelWorking knowledge of NetSuite, Kronos or ADP payroll system or equivalent payroll & timekeeping software$24.00-$27.00 an hourEqual Opportunity Employer Essen Health Care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.#J-18808-Ljbffr
