Duties

- Manage acute and chronic conditions, including hospital medicine and pain management.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret medical imaging results.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient care practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in settings such as PICU and behavioral health.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with relevant state licensure.
- Experience in hospital settings, particularly in areas such as infant care and utilization management, is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is a plus.
