Pricing Operations Intern

Full-time (Summer) 40 Hours, Monday-Friday

Pay: $20/hour

Major Responsibilities:

• Participate in a project using PROS Pricing Software to evaluate pricing guidance analysis, maintain Market Competitive cross reference data,  and improve reporting to support pricing analysis
• Support Sales management in modeling revenue and/or margin opportunities. 
• Create, maintain, and analyze competitive intelligence data.
• Support efforts to streamline monthly price change activity
• Create and analyze ad hoc report requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Strong analytical, systems thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of data analytics and business intelligence applications
• Strong data science understanding
• Moderate to advanced knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, and SQL.  Knowledge of Python a plus.
• Ability to bring data analyses to successful completion in a fast-paced corporate environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources
• Ability to self-govern and manage time well independently, given the remote work

Education and Experience 

• Entering junior or senior year in Fall 2024 in information technology, data science, or statistics
