Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily staffing and operation of the sterile processing team. Responsibilities include: scheduling, vacation planning, implementing sick call coverage, coordinating workflow, reviewing time and attendance records, completing corrective action plans with guidance from Manager, performing competency assessments, observing and documenting performance and coaching employees for performance improvement, interviewing and selecting employees, monitoring department compliance, and service as a content expert resource. Participates as a staff member to provide intermittent coverage as needed at all workstations. Handles concerns, HR compliance reporting, and participates as part of management and quality improvement teams. Promotes the Essentia Health vision statement.Education Qualifications:

- 2 years experience in a surgical, sterile processing, materials management or related position
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Certification/Licensure Required:
- Candidate must be able to obtain status as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician through either CBSPD, IAHCSMM, or HSPA within 24 months of hire
