**Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
**Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the facility's and Essentia's mission and goals.
**Education Qualifications:
We require:
- A BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
**Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
We require:
- A current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.
- Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) certification or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year from the date of hire.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire.
