Description : Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage multiple dark fiber, and fiber engineering projects from award to completion including site acquisition, engineering, permitting, construction and project closeout.
- Ensure all projects are completed according to the contract documents within budget and on schedule.
- Proactively identify and mitigate any issues that may impact budget or schedule
- Effectively communicate any obstacles that may impact budget or schedule to senior management and customer
- Lead internal and external deployment meetings, identify project roadblocks, and implement changes as necessary to ensure timely project completion
- Serve as entitlement lead during weekly customer meetings. Ability to comprehend and serve as a subject matter expert on matters related to state & local telecommunication municipal codes. Understand and be able to articulate
details of Federal Wireless Facilities Deployment legislation including Sec. 6409(a) Wireless Facilities Deployment.
Lead pre-project planning meetings.Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure that permit submittal packages meet local and statewide municipal requirements.Coordinate with internal partners to ensure building permits are properly closed out at the completion of construction.Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, including, but not limited to Code Enforcement Staff, Building Inspectors, Members of City Councils, Planning & Zoning Staffs, Commissions and various neighborhood groups. Represent Essentia at municipal meetings to obtain all required zoning approvals.Manage all aspects of complying with conditions of approvals from municipalities for the installation, maintenance and continued operation of company sites.Resolve Property Owner issues, while improving the quality of our relationships.Manage internal and external vendors to ensure timely receipt of deliverables, cost management and vendor relations as appropriate.Effectively partner with other Essentia personnel teams on zoning and permitting questions and issues.Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained for projects and appropriate documents are distributed in a timely manner in accordance with Company and customer standards. Manage the deliverables and ensure quality control.Escalate matters when needed to ensure timely project completion.Why Essentia :

Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experienceWireless industry experience preferredZoning and Permitting experience preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented and demonstrates good organizational skillsProficient in Office Suite, including; Excel, Word, Power Point & OutlookKnowledge of Google Earth is a plusKnowledge of Municipal GIS systems is a plusKnowledge of how to read construction drawings is a plusHome office area and ability to work from homeAbility to occasionally travel within the U.S. as the job requiresOur Values
