Indirect Loan Processor
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for entering new loan documents when received from a participating dealership. Ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate. Ensure funding is processed in a timely manner and represent the Credit Union in a professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Responsible for auditing loan documents from the dealerships to determine accuracy for funding.
- Performs warm call to the member to ensure accuracy of loan documents.
- Responsible for entering loan applications into the system once audit is complete.
- Responsible for verifying member application from the dealership, such as employment, residency, and phone numbers.
- Responsible for auditing loan documents for term, rate, and up-sell accuracy.
- Responsible for disbursing dealer funds in a timely manner.
- Responsible for maintaining written procedures for position.
- Ensures Regulatory procedures are followed in accordance with Federal and State Regulations and updated, as necessary.
- Other projects as may be assigned.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Ensure loan packets are funded timely, accurately, and within Essential indirect guidelines.
- Ensure adverse action letters are produced accurately and timely.
- Maintains an excellent working relationship with branch locations as well as finance managers at all Essential authorized dealerships.
- Ensures Essential’s lien is placed timely and accurately.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year customer/member service experience required.
- Two years lending-related experience in a financial institution preferred.
- Title work/DMV experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Perform primarily sedentary work on computer or laptop for an average of eight (8) hours per day. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must by capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
