Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate, organized, enthusiastic, clinically experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who is seeking full-time employment, to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a BCBA to learn more about starting a business in the field while working collaboratively with a team to support this process. This will be a new site, so we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work with our team to build up a caseload and support the clinical quality of a new center. Responsibilities
- Perform Assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland-3, etc.)
- Create Individualized, research-based client programs
- Analyze client progress and update programs as needed
- Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates
- Supervise Interns and RBTs in-center.
- Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service training
- Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests)
- Safety Management
- 25-28 hours of billable hours per week
- Support a caseload of 8-12 comprehensive clients with the support of a BCaBA or Lead RBT
- Work collaboratively with the owner of this site and the office manager to support clients and families.
- Coordinate care with in-house speech and OT providers
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- BLS / CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis
- Familiarity with special education practices and principles
- Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
- No criminal background
