GENERAL FUNCTION
The Pricing Manager will be responsible for strategic pricing initiatives at EssilorLuxottica using fact-based decision making and analytics. The position will support mid- and long-term pricing strategies to create revenue and margin enhancement opportunities. This role reports to the Director – Strategic Pricing, while supporting the Sr. Director – North American Strategic Pricing, VP of Sales & Account Management, Sr. Director of Compliance and other EssilorLuxottica groups. Key activities include monthly sales price analysis, pricing strategy analysis, and general rate increase.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and present monthly sales price analysis for ELOA, PLG, and Walman.
  • Support other channels/regions' sales price analyses with knowledge transfer and data validation.
  • Use analytics and data mining to conduct detailed analysis to support strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Make recommendations and support decision-making on said initiatives.
  • Conduct analysis for general rate increase and drive process from recommendation to implementation.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to design and develop pricing systems that deliver tangible value and improve processes.
  • Work with technology partners to increase the effectiveness of reporting and various data sources.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management
  • 5 years successful experience in strategic pricing or similar analytical roles
  • Effective communication and proven collaboration skills are required to create strong cross functional relationships with key partners
  • Ability to engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
  • Ability to drive a cross-functional project
  • Ability to train other team members in recurring tasks under duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner
  • Experience in database query applications
  • Proven working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree in Data Analytics
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
