GENERAL FUNCTION
The Inventory Coordinator works with other departments to develop and maintain various merchandise inventory control functions for current business objectives.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. The Inventory Coordinator works with other departments to develop and maintain various merchandise inventory control functions for current business objectives.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitors and oversees end-to-end movements of retail store merchandise.
- Monitors and reconciles back-office interface systems related to merchandise movements.
- Conducts cycle counts and adjusts store inventory due to missing, lost, or stolen merchandise.
- Supports Rx stores with order status monitoring.
- Maintains, analyzes, and publishes Rx order status and fulfillment reports.
- Coordinates, communicates, and posts store physical inventory counts.
- Maintains, analyzes, and publishes various inventory reports.
- Organizes and maintains various records for internal and external audits.
- Develops and maintains economic process efficiencies and compliance for merchandise moving to and from stores located in Canada and Puerto Rico.
- Assists with development of various store policies and procedures.
- Provides general support to corporate business units, field leadership, and retail stores.
- Performs and supports other Operational tasks and duties.
- Assists with special projects as requested by the Sr. Director of Operations.
- Degree in Supply Chain or Inventory Management or equivalent experience
- 2 years working in corporate level inventory management or data entry
- Strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude
- Strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Office programs
- Ability to manage and execute complex Microsoft® Excel functions
- Excellent analytical and data management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Knowledge of generally accepted inventory management principles and best practices
- Self-motivated and ability to work in high pressure conditions with minimal supervision
- Dedicated employee able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal work week when required
- Previous field or corporate-level retail experience
- ABO Certification or equivalent optical dispensary experience
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA laws
- SAP®, Business Warehouse, and Retail Pro® experience
- Ability to travel when necessary
