GENERAL FUNCTION
EssilorLuxottica is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. Leonardo is EssilorLuxottica’ s digital learning platform. We equip everyone in the industry with professional training and development solutions.
The Education Manager works closely with the Sr. Manager and Leonardo Lead, as well as stakeholders, to develop an execution plan based on business priorities and strategies with a focus on building a culture of learning in their respective areas of responsibility. They are responsible for the development of training programs to achieve business objectives and when appropriate, manage internal and external partners in their involvement as subject matter experts within the plan. This role will also provide reporting aligned with KPIs and build monthly updates to be reviewed with Leonardo leadership and Brand Managers to drive Leonardo engagement and adoption of the platform. They should possess strong facilitation, influence and project management skills along with the ability to think strategically and develop effective business plans.
Major Duties And Responsibilities
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Partner with Leonardo Sr. Manager on the educational offer based on the assigned area of responsibility
- Create solid cross-functional relationships and to project manage and influence key initiatives
- Own the execution of approved strategies, ensuring appropriate initiative prioritization
- Demonstrate acute planning and follow up skills
- Own the tracking of project status against key milestones and evaluate ability to achieve timeline
- Recommend solutions and enhancements
- Partner with Content design & Production team for the design of the educational content
- Facilitate train-the trainer sessions to guide facilitators in new content launches
- Executive presence: ability to interact with upper-level leadership (Managing projects and evaluating results to report back to business, remains informed of all Brand initiatives and training needs)
- Review and provide monthly update on results tied to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Keep learning plans alive and update regularly
- Streamline and simplify processes to elevate the learners’ experience
- Identify and maintain processes and tools to drive standardization and efficiency
- Ability to be flexible and help peers with projects outside the area of expertise as needed
- 5 years project management experience or equivalent
- Experience leading people through influence
- Experience with Business Objects
- Strong analytical skills- ability to create, understand, analyze and manage reports
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- Clear communications, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude
- Advance skills in Proficiency of Microsoft Windows software
- Facilitation Skills (virtual and In-person)
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM)
- Experience with virtual training platforms and e-learning tools
- Knowledge of ophthalmic products and services

Salary : $105,885 - $159,486
