GENERAL FUNCTION
The Market Manager- Sun drives results, oversees a group of stores within a region, and reports to the regional manager. The Market Manager supports the team to succeed on all measures and is responsible for their store sets business performance, customer experience, talent management and development, and flawless execution of the retail operations and brand standards.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage up to ten stores in the Market. Responsible for running their Home Store.
- Leverages the Sunglass Hut Experience tools and resources to consistently deliver a winning customer experience, sales plan, and company objectives.
- Create strategic plans in partnership with the regional manager to achieve business outcomes
- Creates an environment of shared wins through coaching, developing, mentoring, and inspiring the team to enhance store performance and achieve goals.
- People work for people – uses this philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork, and retain talent through a development-focused environment.
- Manages store staffing levels by networking, recruiting, and hiring top talent to deliver the brand experience.
- Inspires team growth through individual development plans to promote an environment of accountability through performance management.
- Creates a fun, inspiring, and inclusive environment that reflects the brand culture.
- Continually coaches and develops the store teams to ensure consistent and impeccable execution of current brand initiatives.
- Promotes an environment that encourages positive customer interactions through the flawless delivery of The Sunglass Hut Experience and a training and learning culture
- Leverages customer feedback to coach others to further enhance the customer experience.
- Set expectations, monitors and measures performance, and holds the team accountable for achieving results, including operational process and procedures in partnership with the Regional Manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of previous leadership experience with 3 years
- Must be relocatable within the United States
- Ability to be an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand
- Protects the integrity and essence of the Sunglass Hut brand
- Strong product knowledge. Curious about new merchandise and fashion trends
- Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire others
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous multi-unit retail experience is preferred
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
