About The Role
In this role, you will be part of the Onsite IT team. The Onsite IT team plays a crucial role in providing IT support to our manufacturing and logistics sites. Recently re-organized to adopt a more stakeholder-centric approach, the team aims to become “the Supply Chain IT partner of trust.”
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Harrodsburg and Danville sites. You will follow defined Service Management procedures to provide IT support to the stakeholders. This includes being the main point of contact for the manufacturing site, manage the life cycle of IT equipment, ensure compliance with information security standards, and troubleshoot network, software, and other IT-related issues.

About The Role

What You Will Do
- Install, replace, and support end user IT equipment (computers, smartphones, printers, collaboration tools, etc…)
- Support and manage local servers and networks in collaboration with global IT teams
- Process and take ownership of tickets from customers
- Administer IT assets (hardware and software)
- Train and educate users on IT workplace and collaboration tools
- Contribute to the improvement of IT services and knowledge databases
- Support local applications (where applicable and in line with global policies)
- Follow internal and external audit requirements
- Formal education in computer science, business or related field; professional experience, or combination of education and experience/certifications to effectively execute duties upon hire
- Two to Five (2-5) years of desktop experience in Information Technology
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of network operational principles
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices; certification is a plus
- Sound working knowledge in an Intel based personal computing environment
- Desire to provide the highest levels of service to customers
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving, decision making, resolution, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Travel: Ability to travel between local sites daily and some domestic locations, if necessary.
