We are seeking a Sr Data / Business Solution Analyst for a 6 month hybrid assignment working with our Austin, Texas client. This position requires that you are local to the Austin, Texas area. Key Responsibilities Include :
- Assess and analyze current data architecture, tools, and processes
- Evaluate existing data infrastructure and identify gaps / improvement areas
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with IT teams
- Develop As Is architecture and tools environment and To Be future state architecture recommendations
- Create detailed technical specifications and diagrams
- Provide expertise on industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Assess security and access requirements
- Document technical findings and recommendations
- Contribute to implementation roadmap and strategy
- Collaborate with PM to ensure business and technical alignment Requirements :
- 10 years of experience in data architecture, business intelligence, and analytics
- Deep technical expertise across multiple BI / visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, etc.)
- Proven experience with technical assessments, business and technical recommendations and technical roadmaps
- Experience assessing and recommending technical architectures and tools
- Experience designing and implementing data warehouses and ETL processes
- Strong background in data modeling, SQL, and database technologies
- Previous consulting experience delivering data / analytics solutions
- Public sector experience, particularly city / county IT projects preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
