Responsibilities
The HR Recruiter will report to the Manager, Talent Acquisition but will also work closely with the Field Recruiter to identify, select and hire interns, temporary staff and experienced professionals. The HR Recruiter may work with outside agencies on temporary and direct-hire placements. They may also work with the Human Resources staff on various HR generalist and specialist functions as needed. However, the main role of the position will be to efficiently and effectively fill a variety of positions in offices throughout EFW. The HR Recruiter will also be responsible for carrying out key recruitment and HR related projects and maintaining relevant analytics as needed with the ultimate goal of excellent employee retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop in-depth relationships with leaders to understand not only the technical needs, but the intangible competencies and traits that make a good fit and strong performer on a specific team.
- Develop and implement targeted approach for key positions and in key locations utilizing schools, career fairs and advertising as appropriate.
- Exercise independent judgment to successfully develop and implement a position-specific, targeted search strategy to identify and source candidates.
- Assist with preparing recruitment advertising and postings that utilize the latest recruitment marketing concepts including search engine optimization and iCIMS technology.
- Assist managing current employment vendors with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships and pipelines.
- Interview and phone screen applicants to select top talent with a focus on the quality of hires.
- Encourage and utilize referrals from current candidates and employees.
- Maintain candidate databases (via ATS).
- Manage the interview scheduling process to accommodate hiring managers.
- Assist Human Resources staff members (Generalist, Specialist, Project Coordinator, Supervisor and VP) with HR-related projects and needs as dictated.
- Follow all guidelines for Affirmative Action compliance.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Experience in using applicant tracking systems.
- Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization required.
- Proven ability to handle difficult conversations. Honest, sincere, and consistent in communications.
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
- Experience working closely with an HR team and managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle with a passion for sourcing and recruiting.
- Prior experience in sourcing, interviewing and presenting candidates for specific positions within various roles.
- Prior experience in communicating with external vendors (staffing agencies, recruiting services providers, advertising sources, 3rd party recruiting resources).
- Business acumen with strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with various groups of people.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment delivering quality pipelines of candidates under very tight timelines.
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of experience in human resources or recruiting/sourcing preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education may be taken into consideration for the right candidate.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
