Position Overview:
Join our team at the Estes Park Aerial Tramway, where breathtaking views meet unforgettable guest experiences! As a Ticket Attendant, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors embarking on their mountain adventure. This role combines customer service excellence with operational efficiency, ensuring smooth ticketing processes while enhancing guests’ journeys to the summit.
Compensation:
- $17.00 - $22.00 / hour, pay commensurate with experience
- Paid bi-weekly
Schedule:
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Manage cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic and passionate about Colorado tourism and outdoor experiences.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service-oriented.
- Ability to function and make good decisions in the absence of a supervisor.
- Great at multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn ticketing systems.
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- Team player ready to train into additional roles, including Car Attendant.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
- Strong verbal communication skills required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ticket Attendant
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression of the tramway experience.
- Sell ride tickets and manage reservations using the ticketing system.
- Handle credit card transactions accurately. Balance and reconcile card transactions accurately at the end of each shift.
- Answer guest questions about pricing, ticket options, and schedules.
- Provide information about Estes Park Aerial Tramway, including pre-boarding instructions, summit activities, and local attractions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ticket booth and surrounding areas.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Responsible for rebooking or refunding customers during inclement weather.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
