Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Receptionist to join our team. The Legal Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients and vendors, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and maintain staff calendars
- Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Responsibilities and job duties are subject to change as assigned by manager.
- Positively representing Legal Services for marketing purposes and projects.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience as a receptionist or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and other office software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus
Working Conditions: The Legal Receptionist will work in a professional office environment. The position may require occasional overtime or weekend marketing work.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Physical Requirements: The Legal Receptionist may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and lift-up to 25 pounds.
Salary: Hourly Rate for this position will be commensurate with experience ($18.00 - $22.00).
