This role will be responsible for :
Overseeing all functions of project estimating for multiple ongoing bidsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with clients and architects to establish a level of understanding of the project scope, specification, and contractSolicit and track Subcontractor / Supplier proposalsManages the development of bid proposals, plans, specifications, & addendumsEvaluate bid documents for completeness, obtain additional information from the client as required, observe all stated guidelines and deadlinesAttends site visits and pre-bid meetings as required to assess customer needsResponsible for ensuring maximum subcontractor & vendor coverageDevelops detailed scopes of work for each trade package based on bid documentsPerform complex analysis of subcontractor estimatesNegotiating with Suppliers & Subcontractors for best pricingMeeting with upper management for bid review and submissionQualifications include :
Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction management or related field5 years of experience in Commercial ConstructionStrong organization, presentation, written, and communication skillsUnderstanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, product data, and contractsExperience with project management is a plusSoftware experience including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Construction Management & Estimating SoftwareEstrem & Company is committed to helping our clients succeed by offering them access to the Top Talent in their area.
