What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at eTeam?
Responsibilities
- Coaching the development team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Helping the development team to use Agile methodology to create high-value products.
- Removing impediments to the development team’s progress in adopting Agile methodology (either himself/herself, within the team or get help from outside the team or from product owner).
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Coaching the development team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.
- Guide in creating “Definition of Done”.
- Guide to analyze and choose PBIs for a sprint.
- Collaborating with Product owner on the foregoing.
- Act as pseudo-product owner in backlog grooming and during sprint execution.
- Help with estimation techniques.
- Coach team in identifying tasks, collaborating with other team members, complete sprint backlog.
- Help team members recognize skill bottlenecks and build those into the team over few sprints.
- Leading and coaching the organization in its agile framework adoption.
- Planning Scrum implementations within the assigned development team.
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development.
- Causing change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
- Working with other Scrum master’s and Agile Coaches to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager related to the project/product/scrum team.
- Good knowledge in RDBMS
- Expert level knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, MS-Teams
- Agile / Scrum certification
- Great soft skills
- Data & Analytics technology experience.
- Experience with multiple Agile scaling frameworks.
- Project to Product mindset
