This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing system solutions, producing data mappings between systems, and ensuring the seamless integration of new SaaS platforms with our existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
System Analysis and Design :
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Design system specifications and models that meet business requirements.
- Develop and document technical designs, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes.
Data Mapping and Integration :
Produce data mappings between systems and interfaces as we switch from legacy, custom-developed solutions to SaaS-based platforms.Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.Develop and implement data migration strategies when necessary.Collaboration and Implementation :
Work closely with software developers and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of system designs.Provide technical guidance and support during the development phase.Testing and Quality Assurance :
Partner with QA to develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure systems meet specifications and function correctly.Documentation and Reporting :
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, and procedures.Document changes and updates to systems for future reference.Provide insights and recommendations for system improvements.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5 years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.Strong knowledge of system architecture, databases, and software development methodologies.Experience with data mapping and integration between systems, particularly in transitioning from legacy solutions to SaaS platforms.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and design effective solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document technical information.Attention to detail and precision in documenting requirements, designs, and testing procedures.Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions.Knowledge of business process modeling and BPM tools.Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
