Job Summary:
Etheridge Roofing, a well-established award-winning commercial roofing company, is seeking an experienced construction manager. You will ensure all aspects of the assigned new construction projects are performed and completed accurately, taking ownership of the project for the company. You will ensure that the proper number of materials, equipment and resources are on the jobsite before shortages cause delays in project completion. You will be responsible for subcontractors, equipment jobsite safety, equipment maintenance, reviewing start up packages with crews, maximizing profitability by ensuring all projects are properly supervised with quality and timeliness, all facets of assigned company operations adhering to and following company procedures and policies, and accurate and timely reporting of all aspects of assigned projects to the Operations Manager. This is a highly visible position in the company and demands the individual be self-motivated and results oriented. You must be thorough, organized, and apt at managing relationships with key persons. The goal is to provide quality service and meet the needs of our customers, which will enhance the profitability and growth of our people and our company.
Duties:
- Communicate daily with Operation Manager on progress and completion of installation.
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all aspects of the project are carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with customer to determine accurate start date and update job calendar.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.
- Ensure that the proper number of materials, equipment and resources are on the jobsite before shortages cause delays in project completion.
- Be responsible for crew and equipment jobsite safety.
- Conduct inspections of work sites, address any issues that arise, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

- All facets of assigned company operations adhering to and following company procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates/Bachelor’s degree are a plus
- Must have 2 years performance-driven experience in supervision of construction crews and subcontractors. Preference will be given to those with Project Management and Project Manager Experience.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have a valid Driver License and be insurable.
- Basic computer skills needed as you will regularly use Google Drive, CompanyCam and Outlook for communication.
- Ability to travel to job sites with some overnight travel required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, willing and able to manage diverse and often strong-willed individuals and enforce company rules and policies evenly and without favoritism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
